During the night a thunderstorm crashes down, striking an old abandoned building not far from my home. 

As I open my eyes I hear a quiet rain drizzling from the sky with clouds as white as snow.

I get out of my bed, the clouds get darker and heavier, and my eyes swallow up with tears.

I look in the mirror out of curiosity and see tears falling endlessly from my eyes.

It was as if the more it rained I would cry endless tears until it would stop raining, It was controlling me. 

Suddenly the clouds turn white and separate for the sun to rise, I decide to ignore it and carry on with my day.

Today I was supposed to collect an ancient family heirloom because I was the oldest child.

Me and my mother walked across the street to the other side of the road and started walking. It took us eight minutes to reach my grandparents house.

When we reached the house it started raining once again, we quickly ran inside.

The house was completely empty with only a single weaved basket and a small gift box tied together with a shiny white ribbon, and on top of that a small note written on an old brown paper saying, It was for me.

We decided to take the box and bring it back home. Once we arrived home I ran to my bedroom and untied the bow and then opened the small box. It contained a rusty pendant with a cloudy white diamond embedded in the pendant.

I decided to polish the pendant and wipe it because it is dusty, and rusty. After the cleaning I decided to try on the pendant, as soon as I put on the pendant  the wind gets stronger and the clouds get darker and heavier. 

A thunderstorm appears out of nowhere on a perfect sunny day. The lightning strikes at my home causing fire, Nowhere to go I faint.

I feel as light as a feather, I decide to open my eyes, The perfect view I see, crystal clear walls all around, A crystal clear castle In the sky, I decide to roam around to look for help.

Something bumps my back, I turn around seeing a small cloud, I look back and I see my pendant glowing and reaching for the sky.

The glowing pendant leads me on top of the cloud taking me to a room at the very top of the castle,

the only thing I can see is the shiniest of mirror walls reflecting to one special mirror,

decide to walk up to it, I could see a vision In the mirror, I could Manipulate clouds and weather with this

Pendant.

Note: This is only Part 1, part 2 will not be made unless wanted because it will take a long time.

Should our borders be opened? | Writing

The big question is... should New Zealand’s borders be open? In my opinion I think not. Corona-Virus has mutated into the Delta Variant, the Delta Variant is basically Corona-Virus but is a stronger virus.

And if the borders open we will all be at risk of getting infected. Even when quarantine is over, everyone should still stay at least 1 meters away from each other, when we go to school or work.

If we all stay at home we can stay safe, after a few weeks, or months i’m guessing the Delta Variant will stop spreading around.

So that’s why I think we shouldn’t open our country's borders for now. 

What do you think? Should we open our borders? Or should we not open our borders?

Is Kapa Haka good for us? | Writing

Kapa Haka Is a great way to exercise. I think Kapa Haka Is good for everyone.

Not everyone likes Kapa Haka, but some people do! 

In my opinion I like Kapa Haka but I wouldn’t prefer to do It as a hobby. 

For people who do prefer Kapa Haka, I completely agree with you. It's a great way of exercising at home or even in your backyard, or school, and It’s also fun to do with friends.

But for people who wouldn’t prefer Kapa Haka, that's completely fine.

 Some people don’t do Kapa Haka because they don’t want to or because they are from a different culture but that's fine you can be any culture to do it If you want to do Kapa Haka.

If you want to practice dancing do Kapa Haka because It’s also a cultural dance If you didn’t know. So I think Kapa Haka Is good for us.

And that Is my opinion on Kapa Haka, everyone will have their different opinions.

In my opinion I like sports and music equally!

I enjoy Ice skating, and lots of music as well. 

What’s your favourite? Sport or music? 

If you like both, that means you like sports and music equally.

Although I enjoy music more because it is not rough and is peaceful.

Music is really good for therapy and way more.

But If you don’t like sports or music what do you like?

Try finding things around your house like pots and pans.

You can use them as a drum! You can clap to make music, snap to make music, and even whistle to make music! It’s great.

You can even play real instruments if you want! You can play the flute,

Or the guitar, the piano, and even a kazoo! 

I think music is better than sports.

You might think just listening to music is unhygienic,

but you can dance to music and it’s kind of like exercising.

Ocean pollution | 2021-ISSUES

In my opinion plastic should be stopped. Around the world people throw trash all around the ocean which causes ocean pollution.
Many sea creatures like turtles, Fish, and other sea creatures are dying because of ocean pollution! Did you know some seagulls get tricked by thinking a piece of shiny plastic is a fish? 

According to the EPA the average person uses about 5.91 pounds of plastic. Instead of using a plastic bag try using a tote bag, they are completely reusable! And also Instead of using a plastic water bottle try using a stainless steel water bottle, they are much better and you can use them even longer than a plastic bottle!   

If you can’t use tote bags or stainless steel water bottles, try recycling or reusing plastic things, you can use plastic water bottles as watering can, and you can reuse plastic bags all over again so you don’t have to get anymore plastic!

In my opinion zoos should not exist. Animals should live freely and happily in their natural habitat. Animal rescuers take animals for a short time but zookeepers take care of animals like they are a baby and release them back into the wild after years, And that means the animal will die early for not having its natural wild instincts. Well it’s much safer for endangered animals to stay  In zoos but then the only reason people would come to a zoo is just to see animals and learn they’re behaviour. If you want to learn more about animals just search it up on google.

 You also might think the amount of space zookeepers give animals is a lot, It’s actually an average size but you might as well give them a whole habitat!

But zookeepers do they’re best to give the animals a artificial habitat,

Although animals do seem comfortable, like when you visit tigers but they are just sleeping by a tree.

Zookeepers do everything for the animals. They wash them, they feed them, they even train them. It’s kind of like a circus but with not a lot of tricks to see. Animals should be Independent. As an example, some Dog owners actually teach their Dog on how to communicate with each other using special buttons that have sound.

Kiribati week! | Coconut Pumpkin Soup | Food review!

  The pumpkin coconut soup was good, but I’m gonna have to give it a 4 star review because It’s actually the only pumpkin soup I’ve ever tasted so I don’t know what other pumpkin soup taste like so I can't really say that It’s the best pumpkin soup I’ve ever tasted In my whole life! But It did taste good It had a slight peppery taste, and It was very creamy. It kind of tasted like the butter chicken sauce, And kind of also smelt like it. The soups colour was a dark and light shade of orange like in between, It also had some small green specs which where baby spinach.

 Here Is the Coconut Pumpkin soup we made!

It's actually really good with bread!

Deer life report

Female deers are called Doe or Hind, And male deers are called Bucks or Staggs, Finally baby deers are called Fawns or Calves, like Cow babies. 

There are many types of deers In the world for example the european fallow dear, or in short “Fallow deer”, and the Water deer, and your local red deer, by the way it’s one of the biggest species of deer if  you didn’t know.

And if your wondering, what do  deers eat? They eat apples, blueberries, blackberries, and persimmon but they eat other things too.

If you want to take some beautiful pictures of nature, I suggest you take a picture of a deer, they usually live in grasslands, wetlands, rainforests and way more!

Just make sure you don’t get to close especially with a doe with fawns, it could attack you.

 As I press the trigger bullets start to glide out of the shotgun, Aiming for it’s target. Flash! The bullets glide faster than the speed of light,The audience starts to clap.

The bullets pierce through the target leaving a giant hole, The audience amazed as there jaw drops.

I stand proud knowing I’ve tried my best.

How to make Rice Cakes | Recipe

 Step 1.

Prepare a bowl with Rice flour and water.

Step 2.

Mix them well, Make sure that it’s very liquidy. It's not supposed to be a dough.

Step 3.

After you make the Rice flour liquid, add a teaspoon of sugar, And mix well. (Optional)

Step 4.

In a pot put water, But not too much that it will flood in the bowl.

Step 5.

Place the bowl in the pot and let it steam for 2-3 or until it turns into a slightly hard dough.

Step 6.

After you're done steaming it, It should’ve become a hard dough.

Step 7.

Use a spoon to take out the dough. After you take out all the dough, start kneading the dough until It becomes smooth and softer.

 

Step 8.

After you knead the dough, form them into any shape you like.

Step 9.

After you made the shapes just let them set because you don’t need them yet.

Step 10.

Get a pot and start boiling some water. When you start boiling, do not add the uncooked Rice Cakes or else they will melt. You will know for sure if they’re melting if the water turns into a really dusty white colour and you can barely see them.

Step 11. 

After the waters been boiling for at least 2-3 minutes the water should be very hot,

Now you can add the Rice Cakes, Let them boil for 3-4 minutes.

Step 12.

After 3-4 minutes of boiling  let them cool down on a table.

Step 13.

Make a sweet syrup that you can dip the Rice cakes in (Optional)

Step 14.

Mix Brown sugar and maple syrup together and there's your dip! (Enjoy)

Being an Ice skater is not a very common hobby, Because it is hard. If you want to 
to be an Ice skater you should be good at balancing or else you’ll fall on the ice, And that could hurt. And also if you're wondering “Why do Ice skaters have sharp blades on their skates?” Well it’s so it can have a grip on the Ice, if you didn’t have the sharp blades you would  fall easily. 
And did you know that Ice skates were first made by Animal bones? 
Reindeer, Ox, and Horse leg bones or rib bones. Also Ice skating Is the oldest winter sport. It's probably true because they used to use bones as Ice skates. 
And did you know that there is a Ice skating move that male ice skaters can’t do only females can it's called the “layback spin”, It requires you to lean back with your shoulders and head.

A  Day In the Life of a Writer | 2021 . May . 5th | Purpose: Facts / RT: Paragraph

A  Day In the Life of a Writer is kind of hard. The average amount of writing a Writer writes is about 500 to 3000 words, Which is 6 pages. I imagine a writer having a lot of stationary.

If I were a Writer I would write as soon as I eat breakfast, And a good Writer requires you to not get distracted easily,  you won’t finish your writing In time. Writers should be In a quiet area If they’re  trying to focus. I think a good writer would need the desire to succeed, They would have to be motivated to write a big story. Most writers have good writing habits, Like always putting a comma, Or always spelling right. If you have no Idea what to write, Here’s a fact, Writers don’t just think of a story and just write it down, Sometimes writers have to use Inspiration as an Idea.
Most Fiction story Writers have a big imagination, That's why some stories might be something you never heard of. Depending on what type of Writer you or they want to be,

stories will always be different In different ways, Like people not every person looks the same.
