How to make Rice Cakes | Recipe

 Step 1.

Prepare a bowl with Rice flour and water.


Step 2.

Mix them well, Make sure that it’s very liquidy. It's not supposed to be a dough.


Step 3.

After you make the Rice flour liquid, add a teaspoon of sugar, And mix well. (Optional)


Step 4.

In a pot put water, But not too much that it will flood in the bowl.


Step 5.

Place the bowl in the pot and let it steam for 2-3 or until it turns into a slightly hard dough.


Step 6.

After you're done steaming it, It should’ve become a hard dough.


Step 7.

Use a spoon to take out the dough. After you take out all the dough, start kneading the dough until It becomes smooth and softer.

 

Step 8.

After you knead the dough, form them into any shape you like.


Step 9.

After you made the shapes just let them set because you don’t need them yet.


Step 10.

Get a pot and start boiling some water. When you start boiling, do not add the uncooked Rice Cakes or else they will melt. You will know for sure if they’re melting if the water turns into a really dusty white colour and you can barely see them.


Step 11. 

After the waters been boiling for at least 2-3 minutes the water should be very hot,

Now you can add the Rice Cakes, Let them boil for 3-4 minutes.


Step 12.

After 3-4 minutes of boiling  let them cool down on a table.


Step 13.

Make a sweet syrup that you can dip the Rice cakes in (Optional)


Step 14.

Mix Brown sugar and maple syrup together and there's your dip! (Enjoy)
